I've been feeling bad for posting so much fic in this journal. After all there are people reading this who don't even watch anime. They must be so bored.

Of course, I do post other things, such as articles and occasional musings. I don't post much about real life, not because I'm especially private, but because it's so incredibly dull.

On that note, I've just finished chapter three of "Same Plot, Different Shinigami," my Bleach/Yami no Matsuei crossover, and it's currently in beta. (Thank you, ravenbell!) Right now, chapters one and two are only on ff.net. I want to post succeeding chapters here, which means I should probably have the first two chapters here too. I'm currently downloading Gankustuou. I netflixed the first disc and thought it was great. The box set is really expensive though, and I already have plenty to buy, so downloading it is. (Hey Geneon's going out of business either way.)

I'm currently eagerly awaiting the release of the Princess Tutu box set. $37.50 at amazon.com! Horray for affordable anime!

Also pondering whether or not to buy the Genshiken box set. I'm watching it at anime club and liking it quite a bit, but I have to decide if I'm going to want to watch it again.

I picked up Wild Adapter volume 3 recently. I liked a lot. (Kubota and Tokito--so gay for each other.) Unfortunately, I cannot give more detailed comments, as I cannot find my copy. Argh!

I don't have much to say. I am dull.

Oh, I've been meaning to do a fic roundup.

First of all, my months old V for Vendetta fic, Discovering the Question. I'm fairly certain I've never mentioned it here. It was written for fic_on_demand.

Over at wishkisses I've written Christmas Present, a Fruits Basket fic with a Ritsu/Mitsuru (Shigure's editor) pairing, and The Fine Art of Experimentation, a Tatsumi/Watari fic that gave me no end of trouble. Darn thing just didn't want to be written. I also wrote Prize, which is Hisoka/Oriya, and Monkey See, Monkey Do, a Saiyuki fic, with a Goku/Gojyo pairing of all things.

In the "written for me" pile we have Bosatsu's Gambit by ranalore. It is Kanzeon Bosatsu/Jiroushin. You want to read the Kanzeon Bosatsu/Jiroushin. There's also Wishing by fuzipenguin. It's Bleach, Shunsui/Nanao. Yay! Last, but definitely not least, there's Behind the Mask of You and I by trensaddiction. It features my Peacemaker Kurogane OTP, Akesato/Yamanami. Read it; it's beautiful.

I am still dull.

I'm all depressed and anxious again. Poopy. (I am sooo mature.) Don't worry though, it's not shootmyselfintheheadkthnxby kind of depressed and anxious. Just normal stuff.

I marched in the local parade on Labor Day. My dad's running for reelection (he's a county commissioner), so I'm part of the "Tom Mayer for County Commissoner" campaign. I highly encourage the local people on my flist to vote for him. Not because he's my dad, but because he's dedicated, knows what he's doing, and fully supports GLBT programs. He's done quite a lot for the OASOS program.

Yeah, I love my daddy, and when someone you love is a politician, you show your love by trying to get people to vote for them.

Now for fic! I wrote a Bleach/Yami no Matsuei crossover for fic_on_demand. Aizen finds blueprints for an inter-universal transporter (and espresso machine) in Uruhara's garbage. Whacky hijinks ensue.

His father!? His father is a...!? Buahahahaha! That is the the best thing ever.

Seriously, I have yet to make myself coherent when talking about this manga.

I am currently on chapter 172 of Bleach, and damn is it good. I don't really have anything intelligent to say except for general blathering. Though, I do like the description I came up for one of the characters while I was trying to explain why he creeps me out so much. He smiles like he's looked at the universe, seen the joke, and it's on you. That's what the expression on Gin's face is like.

I have nothing intelligent to say.
