Gay people live in caves- tehseto, Utterly random- tehseto
You know you've been playing Sims 2 too much when you almost press the 3 key in an attempt to speed up reality.

I should definitely be in bed.

I rented two movies today: Little Shop of Horrors and The Cook, the Thief, His Wife, and Her Lover.

First I tried LSoH. I managed to get almost all the way through before the darn thing just stopped playing. So I called the video rental place and asked if I could get some sort of refund. They gave me store credit for two moviess. I thought about pointing out that only one movie was damaged, but I figured that on the slight chance that the other movie was unwatchable as well, it wouldn't make sense to have to call again. So, I popped in the second movie, and guess what? It was in fact unwatchable.

Having tried and failed to view these movies through legal means, I am now attempting to aquire them illegally. I'm trying bittorent, but the damn things just don't want to download (there are seeds). I've checked out the Internet Archive, but they're not there.

Does anyone know a site I could try?

I just got done purging my computer of viruses. It was freaking annoying. I noticed my computer was being a brat, so I ran the virus scanner. It found five infected files. Great! Except the stupid program couldn't heal them, move them to the virus vault, or delete them. I'm pretty much "WTF? You can't do anything about it? I just have to let them sit there?" So, I check the website (though, actually there was a period between discovering the problem and checking the website that was just me freaking out), and discover that the virus program can't delete these files because they're in a zip file. I'll have to either delete them myself, or unzip the file so that everything can be properly scanned. What do I do first? Go to the zip files that I just downloaded, the Yami no Matsuei manga. I have an attack of guilt that I led my friends list to corrupted files. I unzip everything, then rerun the scanner. Infected files are still there. This time I have brilliant idea to, you know, actually check the file name to see where the problem is. Genius, I know. It turns out that the virus is deep within the system. I was pretty much "WTF? How did it get there?" So, I unzip the file. Immediately after I do this, I get an alert saying that there are viruses there. No shit, Sherlock. I tell the program to heal the files. Then, I run the virus scanner again. The virus files are still there! I re-unzip, get another "you've got viruses" message. This time I send the files to the the virus vault, thinking maybe that will work better. I run the scanner yet again. The viruses are, you guessed it, still there. I freak out for a moment or two. Then, and this is where you'll all gape at my genius, I realize that I still have the original zip file on my comp. You know, the one that's full of infected files! So, I delete that. I run the virus checker again, and this time all is well. Yay.

Of course, I worry about what sending those files to the vault rather than healing them might have done to my comp.

So, I may have damaged my computers infrastructure, but at least I killed the viruses. All's well that ends well, I say.

I KILLED THEM DEAD

My mother is a nasty, bigoted woman.

But that's not the point of this post. The point of this post is: I have Bit Torrent! Now I can download anime, and finally be cool.

........So what downloading sites do people recommend?
